It has been pointed out that All Ring Tech principally supplies equipment to main Taiwan-based passive component manufacturers which include Yageo, Walsin Technology Corporation (WTC) and Darfon Electronics.

Lu also adds that its entrance into the supply chain in Japan will become a development driver.

Additionally, All Ring anticipates sales of its equipment used in the manufacture of LED packaging to increase over double in the year 2010, said Lu.

Lu noted that LED packaging-related equipment produced below 10 per cent of the company's overall revenues in the year 2009, and the proportion is anticipated to accomplish 10-15 per cent in 2010.

Lu also expressed confidence about the marketplace for LED-backlit LCD TVs and the budding adoption of LEDs for general-illumination applications. Lu further added, the company has cut into the supply chain of Everlight Electronics and other Taiwan LED companies.

Earlier reports had suggested that All Ring is, in addition, a chief equipment trader for AU Optronics (AUO), securing orders for the panel maker's new-generation facility.

All Ring listed consolidated revenues of NT$230 million during the first quarter of 2010, a 162 per cent jump from previous year. The sales ratio between LCD equipment, passive component and others was 35:35:30 in the quarter.
