Alcatel arm sets up India office

NEW DELHI: Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. (an Alcatel company) has announced its foray into India to offer software solutions for the BPO industry. The company has decided to set up an office in Guragon and appoint an India-based MD. It is also planning to establish a training/education center in Delhi to support the growing demand for trained Genesys consultants in India.






In addition, to support the growing BPO industry in India, Genesys is also planning to launch a BPO Certification Program in India. According to the company release, it also plans to launch a series of Genesys BPO Solutions to aid outsourcers to operate their contact centers efficiently and effectively across geographic boundaries while providing immediate ROI.
