NEW DELHI, INDIA: Aladdin Knowledge Systems has announced the availability of HASP SRM 4.0, the latest version of the company’s fully integrated software protection and licensing solution.
A new portfolio of language interfaces, MAC and expanded Windows OS support, and heightened performance for the solution’s business studio management platform offers software publishers with more customization options to fit their specific needs — regardless of platform, location or language.
With added support for three new languages, HASP SRM’s new localization features enhance the end-user experience and simplify software licensing development, deployment and management for software publishers. The HASP SRM Admin Control Center enables software publishers selling globally to provide Chinese, Italian and Japanese-speaking IT administrators at end-user sites to more easily understand, manage, monitor and maintain their software licenses.
In addition, HASP SRM now supports software-based licensing, locking, and product activation for software publishers’ Intel-based Mac applications, providing flexible software licensing options for enablement of new business models. With this release, HASP SRM supports a variety of CrossLocking licensing models for the Mac, now enabling customers to completely separate the protection process from business processes.
With HASP SRM 4.0, business decision-makers can select which type of HASP SRM Protection Keys (hardware or software-based) and which license models to apply to each product after the software has been protected by the engineering team, increasing distribution flexibility while reducing development costs and time to market.
“HASP SRM is consistently high-performing, providing software publishers with robust security and easy-to-use management tools. Through a rich set of features, the latest version of HASP SRM offers even more extensibility and manageability, enabling Mac developers to leverage our unique CrossLocking technology that enables hardware- and software-based protection and secure licensing in a single solution,” Rana Gupta—Business Head, India & SAARC, SafeNet.
