Al Gore in BOOMj's 'Green Baby Boomers' list

LAS VEGAS: Nobel laureate and former vice president of the United States Al Gore was among the "Top 10 Green Baby Boomers" named by BOOMj.com, a social network and e-commerce site.

In a statement released here, BOOMj, which derived its name from the Baby Boomers Generation and Generation Jones, said that the individuals named in the list were leading the pack in environmentally friendly products and practices, and were encouraging the rest of the world to live “green” lives.

Blythe Danner, Newt Gingrich, Bono, Oprah Winfrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Daryl Hannah, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., George Clooney and Pittsburgh Pirates owner Bob Nutting completed the list of Green Baby Boomers, released in honour of the World Earth Day.
