Mumbai, India: The Bharti Airtel services continued to be affected for the second day in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Though the company said it had restored the mobile voice, BlackBerry and SMS services, customers were not able to make or receive calls and send messages.
Irked by the continued outage, the customers vented their ire on Twitter and Facebook.
Airtel on Tuesday faced major technical glitches which affected its mobile services in the western region including Mumbai and some parts of Maharashtra state.
"A technical outage has affected our network in the western region resulting in disruption of some services. We are working towards rectifying the outage at the earliest. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to our customers," an Airtel spokesperson said in a statement.
Early this year, the company faced similar situation when its network was disrupted for over a day in northern India.
