Airtel partners F-Secure for data security

NEW DELHI, INDIA: F-Secure Corporation today announced a partnership with Airtel Broadband &Telephone Services (B&TS), to provide data security to the company’s broadband subscribers across the country.

According to the agreement, Airtel will offer its broadband customers F-Secure’s security solutions through the Airtel PC Secure service. The service offers clients a high level of security, including proactive protection through F-Secure’s DeepGuard technology, parental control as well as protection from all data security threats including phishing, viruses, spyware, malware and Trojans – all integrated into one easy-to-use and automatically updated package.

F-Secure’s value added service will be integrated into the monthly Internet subscription in a phased manner, F-Secure said in a statement.

In the first phase the Airtel PC Secure service will be immediately offered to Airtel broadband home users. The service for business users will be available later.

The Airtel PC Secure features can be made available to Airtel broadband customers by subscribing to the Airtel PC Secure service at an annual subscription charge.
