Airtel Lifetime for Rs 499

BANGALORE, INDIA: Mobile service provider Airtel, in a bid to increase mobile phone penetration in Karnataka, has slashed the cost of staying mobile for life by 70 per cent from Rs 999 to Rs 499.

Venkatesh V, chief executive officer, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Ltd, Karnataka, said, “In order to harness and optimize Karnataka’s potential in mobile telephony, we have taken many initiatives to spearhead the next level of growth in the state. These offers showcase Airtel’s resolve to take the concept of customer delight to another altitude altogether.”

Airtel also launched a handset bundled offer with a free Airtel connection and lifetime validity for Karnataka customers.
