Technology provided by mCarbon has played a significant role in delivering a secure and robust technology infrastructure for Airtel Gifting Services, thus allowing customers a simple and convenient user experience towards leveraging this service.

Speaking on the launch of this service, Rajesh Razdan, co-founder and director, mCarbon, remarked, “Living up to our philosophy to use technology to add value to day-to-day lives of our customers’, we are excited to work as the technology partner for the launch of Airtel Gifting Services.”

Recently launched for prepaid mobile customers on Airtel, ‘Airtel Gifting Services’ allows friends on the Airtel network to send and receive talk time to each other --- and even give away mobile services’ gift packs with or without a special occasion.

Even when out of balance, Airtel prepaid customers can now also send an emergency 'call me back' SMS alert to a friend, This is possible even when the customer has no balance, and is unable to even make a ‘missed call’. This service allows an Airtel prepaid mobile customer to send upto 5 call me back SMS alerts per month to other Airtel customers absolutely free of cost.
