Aircel debuts free national roaming service

BANGALORE, INDIA: Telecommunications service provider Aircel launched ‘One Nation, One Rate' service, thus debuting one rate for voice, SMS and data in home circles as well as during roaming. It is available in Delhi for Rs.39.

As per the plan, local/national voice calling will be offered at 1paisa/second in home circle as well as during roaming on Aircel network, while incoming calls will be free.

Local and national SMS will be charged Rs 1/SMS in home circle as well as during roaming. Moreover, a user will be able to avail the same data consumption rates as that of home circle's even while on roaming.
