AIOUG announces Oracle, Java user conference

BANGALORE, INDIA: All India Oracle Users Group (AIOUG), a non-profit organization started by Oracle technology enthusiasts has announced the third edition of Oracle Users Conference "Sangam11".

Aimed at to spread awareness about Oracle technologies and support the growing community of Oracle technology users, the two day event will be held on December 9th and 10th 2011, here in Bangalore.

For the first time Sangam 11 is a co-hosted event with India OAUG (Oracle Applications Users Group) and JUG (Java User Groups) and will feature applications as a separate track along with Java, Oracle Database, middleware and other development tools, said a press release.

Murali Vallath, founder president, AIOUG, said "Through Sangam, we are creating an opportunity for the Indian Oracle user community to fasten their seat belts and hear and experience firsthand the innovative use of Oracle technologies."

"Our speakers will discuss the features and functionalities of the new Oracle technologies, along with demos. We would like to encourage the audience to enroll and participate. Participants will obtain high-value tips from experts, peers, and industry leaders as they keep up to date with what's happening in the technology space," he added.

The release further added that Sangam11 aims to provide a knowledge sharing platform for professionals and students that will help enhance their productivity and influence the quality, usability, and support of Oracle technology.

Developers can also learn important tools, frameworks, techniques and best practices for building applications based on Oracle technologies especially on Java/PL/SQL.
