ARIZONA, US: VirTra Systems, Inc. Bob Ferris, VirTra Systems' CEO and president have announced that VirTra’s Brazilian distributor Agora Telecom has ordered three new simulators to be delivered in 2009. This announcement marks Agora’s fifth simulator sold in Brazil since becoming an exclusive distribution arm for VirTra in December 2008.

The sale includes three full IVR-300 HD simulation packages, shares the company. VirTra’s firearm training simulators provide the realistic, judgmental use-of-force and police decision-making simulation and include a 300-degree field of view for superior awareness training, it adds.

“The training systems also include a wireless station and Threat-fire safe return fire systems, a full library of marksmanship and police decision making training scenarios, an elevated training platform and TMaR (Trainee Monitoring and Recording for advanced debrief capability). VirTra is expecting a follow-up order for additional accessories.”

Furthermore, Agora has advanced to the point where they will be installing these and all future simulators with their own trained personnel.
