Agilent names Arun Dogra as GM for EMG

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Agilent Technologies, Inc., a provider in IT services announced on Monday the appointment of Arun Dogra as the new general manager for the Electronics Measurement Group (EMG) of Agilent India.

Prior to this appointment, he was positioned as the director of EMG Global Business Services, said a press release.

Arun Dogra joined Agilent in March 2002, where he established and managed R&D operations in India. He pioneered shared services model for Global Business Services out of India. This function now supports Agilent EMG sales, support, services & quality on worldwide basis.

Parmeet Ahuja, president and country general manager, Agilent India said, “I welcome Arun Dogra to his new role as the general manager – Electronics Measurement Group of Agilent India. As we continue to consolidate our leadership position in the Indian market and further strengthen our relationship with our customers, Dogra 's extensive industry experience combined with his result oriented outlook will be a huge asset to our organization.”

“I will focus on aggressive growth of the business in the country, through innovative methods and world-class service and support to our customers,” said Dogra.

Arun brings 23 strong years of leadership experience in diverse disciplines of RADAR systems, telecom R&D, RF engineering, technical consulting etc. across leading telecom companies such as Lucent Technologies, Bharti Airtel, and Essar Commvision.

Arun is a Bachelor in Electronics & Communication Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration, the release added.
