Agilent inks deal with Agmatel

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Agilent Technologies, a measurement, and electronics and communications companies, has roped in Agmatel India for the distribution and marketing of test and measurement and IT solutions.

The company that has a turnover of $6.6 billion said that they would keep out rolling new products with cutting-edge technologies. With the new partnership, Agilent is expecting to surge its market reach.

Sudhir Tangri, country manager (EMG), Agilent Technologies said that with innovation-driven solutions and products, they create customer value. With Agmatel, the company is also eying to tap government business.

Parmeet S Ahuja, president and country general manager, Agilent Technologies India said that their products set benchmark in the industry. "With new tie-up, we are extending our footprints in the Indian market," Ahuja added.

"We are incredibly pleased to bring on-board a partner that can help us open new markets in India - both for Agilent's state-of-the-art solutions and for our broad range of cost-effective test products, "said Dennis Au, vice president and general manager of South Asia field operations (EMG) at Agilent Technologies.

The company also facilitates test solutions for 2G, 3G and 4G/LTE and work with equipment vendors and service operators. Agilent Technologies operates through 20,000 employees who serve customers in more than 100 countries.
