The integration of Agama's renowned Embedded Monitoring Solution with NexStreaming's NexPlayer SDK - an HLS player SDK for Android, iOS, Windows 8 and Google TV - allows video service providers with OTT multiscreen applications to extend their Agama continuous and real-time monitoring, assurance and analytics technology into the subscribers' NexStreaming-powered viewing devices.

This ensures control of the delivered service quality throughout the end-to-end distribution, allowing providers to assure each service within the head-end, across the network, and all the way down to the end device and player.

"We are pleased to now offer our customers an easy way to implement Agama's transparency-enabling solution to assure a high-quality OTT and multiscreen video experience," says IlTaek Lim, CEO at NexStreaming. "We've been working on exciting commercial projects together with Agama for some time now, and we look forward to continuing and evolving the collaboration going forward."

Johan Görsjö, director of product management at Agama Technologies, adds: "Our integration with NexPlayer SDK facilitates a quick and straightforward deployment that allows our joint customers to immediately establish proactive management of service quality and customer satisfaction, which ultimately enables accelerated growth and profitability with strengthened customer loyalty. This partnership further strengthens our position in offering the market's most complete support for assuring OTT and multiscreen deployments end-to-end, from service creation to end-customer consumption."

The NexPlayer SDK supports HLS streaming and the latest features, such as subtitles, closed captioning and time shifting.
