AEI to get ERM solution from MetricStream

BANGALORE, INDIA: Bangalore-based MetricStream, a player in the field of enterprise-wide Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) Management solutions, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with US-based AEI, an emerging markets energy infrastructure company, to provide MetricStream’s GRC Platform and solution for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

AEI owns and operates essential energy infrastructure businesses in emerging markets diversified across four core business segments - Power Distribution, Power Generation, Natural Gas Transportation and Services, and Natural Gas Distribution -within five regions - Andean, Southern Cone, Central America/Caribbean, China, and Europe/Middle East/North Africa, said a press release.

AEI and its 15,400 employees serve more than 7.4 million customers worldwide, with approximately 26,500 miles of gas and liquids pipelines, 121,000 miles of power distribution and transmission lines, and 2,277 MW of installed power generation capacity.

“We are pleased to have AEI as a customer and we look forward to helping them with their ERM initiatives,” said Gaurav Kapoor, CFO and general manager at MetricStream.

“We are seeing an increasingly strong need from companies to have a robust ERM framework and automation in place. This is coming due to greater board scrutiny and the need to visualize and react faster to risk and opportunities. This selection further strengthens MetricStream’s penetration in the Energy and Utility industry and in the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Solution areas,” he added.
