Adobe's sales head in India resigns

NOIDA, INDIA: Adobe Systems has announced the resignation of Sandeep Mehrotra, Head of Sales for Adobe India, who departs to pursue new interests. Mehrotra will remain in his current position until a successor is appointed, said a press release. 

Mehrotra had been with Adobe for around a decade. Julian Quinn, vice president Asia Pacific, Adobe Systems, said, “Sandeep has provided strong leadership and inspiring vision for the Indian team, built a world class sales organization and guided our Indian operations through ten years of consistent growth. I’m grateful for his contribution, and wish him all the best in his new endeavors.” 

Quinn said that Adobe India was moving into an exciting year ahead based on the achievements in 2010. “Following the launch of Creative Suite 5 and Acrobat X this year, we are focusing on building our presence in the government, education and digital publishing sectors,” he said.
