NEW DELHI, INDIA: Online marketplace Snapdeal brings Rajiv Mangla, the VP Engineering-Digital Marketing of Adobe Systems on board as Chief Technology Officer. Rajiv brings over 20 years’ of experience in Engineering and leading product tech teams.
In his new role, Rajiv will establish the company’s technical vision and lead the company’s technological development.

The technology team at Snapdeal is currently 1000 people strong and the company looks at doubling it by the end of this year.
The company has significantly ramped up its technology leadership team and has hired Anand Chandrasekaran ex-CPO Bharti Airtel, Gaurav Gupta, formerly the India Head of Scalearc – a Bay area start-up, Amitava Ghosh- ex-CTO Taxi for Sure and Viraj Chatterjee ex-Director Engineering, Adobe Systems.
Rajiv spent about 10 years at Adobe Systems and had been an entrepreneur for 10 years and founded couple of companies. Rajiv enjoys leveraging technological advances for disruptive business innovation and believes a lot of traditional businesses will continue to be disrupted in near future by software and technology.
