Adobe names new director for Channels, South Asia

BANGALORE, INDIA: Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced the appointment of Vineet Sood as director—Channels and Strategic Alliances for South Asia.

Vineet will be responsible for driving the channel business for Adobe in the region, said a press release.

Prior to joining Adobe, Vineet served as director—Channel and Alliances with Symantec Corporation for the last seven years. He comes with over 16 years of direct and leveraged sales experience across software and telecom industry having worked with Ramco, Wipro Infotech and Tata Teleservices prior to his time with Symantec.

Vineet has broad experience in the IT and telecom industry across diverse areas such as information security, networking, datacenters, value added services and was also part of the pioneering team at TTL which was instrumental in bringing CDMA to the country.

He holds an engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College (JNEC) Aurangabad and a degree in business management from Symbiosis (SCMHRD), Pune, the release added.
