Aditi adds AWS capabilties with new acquisition

BANGALORE, INDIA: Aditi Technologies has acquired Get Cloud Ready, a cloud operations consulting firm, to bolster its offerings for migrating and managing complex, cross-platform deployments on cloud. This is Aditi's second cloud consulting acquisition since Cumulux in 2011.

Get Cloud Ready employees will join Aditi post acquisition. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Get Cloud Ready Consulting was founded by Janakiram MSV, a former Microsoft and Amazon employee. Get Cloud Ready, headquartered in Hyderabad, provides Get Cloud Ready framework which helps customers 'de-risk' cloud adoption and manage cloud operations across platforms, says a release.

Pradeep Rathinam, CEO, Aditi Technologies, said: "Janakiram and his team bring exceptional cloud infrastructure migration and management expertise. With Get Cloud Ready, we seek to provide our customers with granular visibility into rapidly migrating and managing applications across multiple cloud platforms with minimal effort".

The acquisition, he pointed out, would add AWS and cloud operations management capabilities to Aditi's cloud consulting business.

"We believe that the future of cloud deployment is in hybrid cloud and by offering IaaS and PaaS based consulting services, we will closely align with our customer's cloud migration roadmap. The acquisition is also aimed at addressing the increasingly complex tenets of optimizing and managing cloud based deployments. We are betting big on DevOps and Managed Services, along with application development targeting PaaS that transforms global businesses by simplifying and speeding the entire journey to Cloud".

Janakiram MSV, founder and CTO, Get Cloud Ready, said: "With the addition of Get Cloud Ready, Aditi now offers a complete portfolio of reengineering, migration, performance optimization and DevOps solutions specifically designed to help customers avoid vendor lock-in by letting them use the development and deployment platforms of their choice".
