BANGALORE: IT services provider Adea Solutions has acquired CVR Consulting, a company specializing in providing SAP services.
Texas, US-based Adea will now add on hundred consultants of CVR under its wing.
Making the announcement here today at a media briefing, Adea said that the buy-out would help in winning customers in the public sector space.
“Adea will expand its SAP services in the commercial sector by leveraging its existing customer base and expand to new clients and industries,” said Souvik Bhattacharya, CEO, Adea Solutions.
He said that the company had opened a new delivery center in Dallas in March and would also expand into China. The delivery center in China is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2007.
The company has its recruitment BPO operations called the “SunRays” division in Bangalore. Besides BPO, the company’s IT services division works on Microsoft and Java based technologies.
Bhattacharya also said that the company is in the process of evaluating the option of setting up an SAP competency center in the city.
Adea had acquired NetKraft three years ago.
