Add-On for SQL Server

BANGALORE: Microsoft recently announced the release of an add-on to its SQL Server software. The company will make Business Scorecard Accelerator software available for download. This add-on will enable SQL Server customers create scorecards that measure business performance. Said an online report.

The add-on will require the use of the SQL Server 2000 database, Office 2003, and SharePoint Portal 2003 and can be used by VARs to assemble and customize scorecards for their customers.

These are small giveaways to the solution providers and developers who are eagerly waiting for the launch of SQL Server 2005, code-named 'Yukon.'
