ADC’s Singl.eView Commerce Engine now commercially available

BANGALORE: ADC has made available its patent-pending Singl.eView Commerce

Engine for general distribution, following the release of version 4.02 of the

core Singl.eView software.

Singl.eView Commerce Engine is being implemented at customer sites, providing

real-time authorization of voice, data, content and commerce services, creating

a common, flexible, transactional framework across any network or service

platform.

"Singl.eView Commerce Engine eliminates the need for two separate

billing systems for pre and post-pay accounts, and supports instantaneous

"pay now" transactions. It is the only commercially available platform

that offers these various payment methods from one system. This allows end users

to control these options through all available customer service channels, such

as the Internet and directly through a mobile device, " a media release

stated.

In addition to supporting various payment options, Singl.eView Commerce

Engine simplifies the financial and transactional support needed to provide

consumers with next-generation wireless (including 2.5G/3G), wireline and cable

broadband services. Using Singl.eView Commerce Engine, service providers can

seamlessly manage the complex relationships with content providers that result

from the convergence of voice, video, data and content services. It gives the

service provider a single view of a customer regardless of services used or

payment method.

distinction between pre- and post-pay, and offer the same service level

Singl.eView Commerce Engine is available as a stand-alone solution or as part

of the full Singl.eView customer management, convergent billing and commerce

suite. Depending on the desired business model, service providers can choose

whether they need the full capability of Singl.eView or deploy the Singl.eView

Commerce Engine in conjunction with existing post-pay billing and customer care

solutions. This lets providers add Singl.eView Commerce Engine’s flexibility

without disrupting their current transactional framework.
