ADC Krone is now ADC India Communications

BANGALORE, INDIA: ADC Krone, the networking and cabling supplier in India, has changed its name to ADC India Communications Ltd. Though the acquisition of Krone by ADC was completed long back, it is now that the company is changing the go-to-market brand.

The media spokesperson at the company said that products under the Krone group would now have a unified brand approach as ADC India, while till date the company used to sell its products under two brand names namely ADC Krone and Krone.

Krone Group has been operating in India since 1989. From the very early stage, ADC Germany owned 70 per cent stake in the company. Later in year 2004, this was acquired by ADC global. Henceforth Krone was called as ADC Krone in the Asia Pacific and Europe/Middle East/Africa regions.

The spokesperson added, “ADC Krone is listed with Bombay stock Exchange and still has roughly 20 per cent of the shares with its investors.”

ADC KRONE employs approximately 8,200 professionals worldwide. It has a manufacturing facilities located in 14 countries including one in Peenya, Bangalore.

Some of India clients are Bharti Televentures (AirTel), Tata Teleservices, Reliance Infocom, Siemens HFCL Infotel, Lucent, TCS, Alcatel, Cognizant, EMC Vikas Soudha, and many more.
