BANGALORE: Adamya Technologies, a startup which specializes in software that
helps network and wireless communications, has received $1.0 million from
Infinity Venture Fund, a spokeswoman for the fund said on Wednesday.
She told Reuters that Infinity, which is backed by high net worth
"angel" investors from the Silicon Valley, had chosen the Bangalore-based
company for its specialization in embedded software which goes into chips that
run emerging networks.
The stake details were not disclosed. Infinity said in a statement that
Adamya, which has a subsidiary in the Silicon Valley and marketing arrangements
in Europe and Korea, delivers solutions in digital signal processing, networking
and emerging wireless standards like Bluetooth.
"The company has over 82 engineers on board and is planning to double
the same in the coming year," it said.
