Acer unveils LCD monitor

BANGALORE, INDIA: Acer, today announced the latest product from its bandwagon, 23” wide TFT LCD monitor.

The H5 series, from Acer, featuring an ultra-high contrast ratio of up to 100000:1 (ACM), is the first of its kind in India, said a press release.

The H235H is an addition to the existing range of LCD monitors already on offer from Acer.

Equipped with both an HDMIä port and a DVI-D port (with HDCP support), the H5 Series ensures spectacular multimedia through digital connectivity.

 “Our strategy of ‘Go Big Go Wide’ has been the driving force in our endeavor to offer the market bigger and wider form factors, set new standards and add value by bringing out the latest technology first to the market,” said S. Rajendran, chief marketing officer, Acer India.

He further added that they are confident that with its rich features, stylish looks and attractive pricing, this product will find wide acceptance in the Indian market and help Acer maintain its leadership in the segment.

The company also launched an 18.5" wide TFT LCD monitor, the P195HQ, with 500000:1 AC M and a 20"wide LCD monitor, the H203H with a contrast ratio of 50000:1, said the release.
