TAIWAN: Taiwan's Acer Inc, the world's No.2 PC vendor, told the company's annual shareholders' meeting on Friday that its third-quarter sales would likely be 10 percent to 15 percent higher than those of the second quarter.
In May, Acer said it expected revenue to rise nearly 20 percent this year, helped by new products including electronic books.
