Acer Q3 PAT up 4 p.c.

BANGALORE, INDIA: Acer Inc., a vendor in PC and laptops today announced the financial results of Q1- Q3 2008.

It reported a PAT of US$95 million, an increase of 4 per cent from US$91million of the corresponding quarter, said a press release.

The operating income was recorded as US$145 million that was up by 66 per cent from US$87 million of the corresponding quarter last year.

The company recorded consolidated revenue of US$5.0 billion representing a growth of 31 per cent YOY growth from US$3.8 billion, the release added.
