Acer launches Veriton desktops

BANGALORE: Acer India has launched a new range of business desktops under the

Veriton brand name in India. Under the Veriton umbrella, Acer has introduced

three models of desktops, including Veriton FP2, Veriton 7100 and Veriton 5100.

The company’s flagship product Veriton FP2 has Intel's 815E chipset with

embedded audio, 10/100 Ethernet and graphics and supports the Intel Pentium III

800 MHz processors. Built as an expandable all-in-one solution, the FP2 sets a

new standard for your computing needs. Featuring 4 USB ports (2 frontal ports),

hot-swappable CD-ROM, FDD or DVD and an available AGP video slot, the FP2 is

designed to meet the changing needs of the small and mid-sized business user.

This new colored computer has a flat panel design and allows for easy

maintenance and upgradability.

The network ready Veriton 5100 and Veriton 7100 fully support the latest

Intel Pentium III processor with a capacity of beyond 1 GHz. In addition, they

have embedded 2D and 3D graphics as well as a 2x/4xAGP expansion slot and

utilize the latest Intel chipset, the 815E.

1,47,500 in India. This brand of desktops has as much as 512 MB of storage

memory and enhanced multimedia capabilities.
