Acer Aspire S24 launched for $899

Acer has launched an ultra-thin all-in-one desktop named Acer Aspire S24.  The company claims the desktop to be the slimmest desktop ever announced by Acer with the side profile of the desktop measuring only 5.97mm. The new desktop comes with minimal bezels and 90 percent screen to body ratio.

The desktop sports a 23.8-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) display. Inside the Aspire S24, there is an Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 12GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It also has an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620.

Other connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, three USB Type-A ports, and a USB 2.0 port. The desktop comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse as well. The device sports a black and matte gold colour scheme. The Aspire S24 runs on Windows 10 Home and comes with a Qi wireless charger - letting you charge compatible devices - and a free 30-day trial of Microsoft Office. The desktop is expected to compete with Apple's iMac.

The desktop is priced $899 in the US and will be available on Acer's website.
