Acer launches new TFT monitors

BANGALORE, INDIA:  Acer, recently announced that it has unveiled a slew of innovative TFT monitors.

With its launch of D240H, D241H, B273H, T231H, S243HL monitors Acer plans to augment its current market share of 19.5 per cent (Source IDC) to an all new high, said a press release.  

“Our strategy of ‘Go Big Go Wide’ has been the driving force in our endeavor to offer the market bigger and wider form factors, set new standards and add value by bringing out the latest technology first to the market,” said S. Rajendran, chief marketing officer, Acer India.

Acer monitors feature Acer SensorTouch technology for discrete, touch-sensitive controls. The technology offers a superior touch-sensing solution for selection / single-point sensor control with touch-sensitivity performance. It also consumes lower power compared with other touch-sensing solutions.

It offers digital connectivity via an HDMI port and a DVI-D port (HDCP support) to ensure hassle-free connectivity to pure-digital devices. Acer LCDs to deliver high-quality moving pictures for 3D games and videos, the release added.
