Acer Predator 21 X launched at Rs 6,99,999 in India

Acer has launched its one of the most expensive gaming laptops ever in India. Priced at an eye-popping figure of Rs 6,99,999, the "Predator 21 X" is already available for pre-order on Flipkart.

The Predator 21 X packs 3.9GHz Intel Core i7-7820HK processor with top-of-the-line dual GTX 1080 (8GB+8GB) GPUs. It has 64GB of DDR4 RAM, with a 1TB HDD out of the box, and support for up to four 512GB SSDs. The main attraction of the Acer Predator 21 X is the 21-inch curved IPS display with a 2560 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The company claims that the display of the laptop is equipped with an eye-tracking technology from Tobii that lets the gamer identify enemies, aim and take cover simply by gazing at objects on the screen. The laptop also features dual NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI configuration, because you know, great graphics matter.

Acer's new gaming laptop runs on Windows 10 OS and comes with Windows Hello that enables secure and password-free sign-in by identifying user's face via front camera.  It also equips Thunderbolt 3 on its USB Type-C port. Acer claims that its Killer DoubleShot Pro technology picks the fastest network connection (Ethernet or wireless). The keys in Predator 21 X are backlit and programmable, and, users can also swap out the black W, A, S, D keys with the teal colored ones if they want. The Predator 21 X also comes with a dedicated numeric keypad. However, what’s cool about it is that you can flip it over to turn it into a precision touchpad.

The new gaming laptop weighs 8.5 kilograms and has five cooling fans (including three Aeroblade ones) along with nine cooling pipes. It also includes Acer's DustDefender and CoolBoost apps that claim to offer better heat dissipation. There is also a full-sized mechanical backlit keyboard (Cherry MX Brown keys) and a convertible Precision Touchpad.
