Acer Intros 'Ultra Mini' desktops

BANGALORE, INDIA: Acer India has launched its new ultra small form factor desktops - Acer Aspire L5100 and Aspire L3600 for the Indian market.

The Acer Aspire L3600 is equipped with Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E2140 (1.6 GHz) for high computing power and Aspire L5100 features AMD Athlon64 X2 4000+ (2.1 GHz) processor.

The systems are equipped with a system memory of 1 GB DDR2 RAM and 160 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive at 7200 RPM giving high storage capacity of desktop respectively.

Targeted at the home user, the desktops have 16X DVD-R/W Super-Multi Drive for burning DVDs that enables viewing and burning of DVDs, listening to music and storing data.

The desktops support multimedia card, secure digital, xD-Picture card, memory stick PRO and memory stick.

Using the Linux operating system, the distinctive features of the Acer Aspire L5100 and Acer Aspire L3600 is bundled with USB Stereo 2.0 speakers, an optical mouse and a 19” Wide TFT Display.

The Acer Aspire L3600 is priced at Rs 26,999 and Acer Aspire L5100 at Rs 24,999 respectively. It is available at all Acer registered retail and channel outlets.
