Acer, ICICI team up for Star VAR plan

MUMBAI, INDIA: PC vendor Acer India today announced its partnership with ICICI Bank to provide easy finance option for Acer Star VAR  partners.

The Acer – ICICI Bank loan scheme covers the bulk of IT purchases for small and medium businesses /small and medium enterprises at attractive interest rates, according to a statement from Acer.

“As per the program, partners are entitled to a quarterly bonus on achieving the sales objectives. This additional plan for our Star VAR partners is made keeping in mind the needs of our partners and to excite the channel community focused on this segment to partner with Acer to avail of the Acer-ICICI Bank offer. Through this, partners get maximum benefits in terms of Up-Sell, maximum closure and added benefits,” said S. Rajendran, GM, sales and marketing, Acer India.

“We are happy to extend ICICI Bank’s attractive value added plans to Acer’s Star VAR program. This initiative will further strengthen ACER – ICICI Bank relationship and we look forward for many such initiatives in future,” said Sanjay Agarwal, DGM and Group Business Head, CE/PE Loans.

Acer’s Star VAR program had a membership of 100 partners in Q4 this year.
