ACE launches iPad app for insurance brokers

LONDON, UK: ACE Group launched its mobile app for iPads for ACE Online, its web-trading platform which allows insurance brokers to quote and bind new business on behalf of their clients.

The product suite will be expanded over time and the first cover made available on the ACE Online mobile app is directors & officers liability.

Brokers will benefit from access to ACE's Elite SME Plus directors & officers policy wording, which is wide in the market and includes:

• Cover to accommodate private limited companies with assets up to £500 million in a wide range of trades

• Automatic inclusion of corporate legal liability and corporate employment practices liability cover with their own separate aggregate limit of liability

• Free reinstatement of the D&O limit

• Access to free legal assistance helpline from Gateley law firm

In addition, when placing business via ACE Online or the ACE Online app, brokers benefit from the support of experienced ACE underwriters and claims team who are on hand to help with quotes and technical questions.
