PORTLAND, USA: Accero Software (formerly Cyborg Software), a leading international provider of Payroll, Human Resources and Benefits Management solutions to SMBs (Small to Mid-Size Businesses) and large enterprises, today announced the availability of version 6.0 of its software.
The new comprehensive upgrade includes more than 50 new product improvements, including 25 client-requested feature enhancements. Along with version 6.0, Accero is also releasing an optional browser-based user interface.
Accero version 6.0 offers Microsoft Excel integration and improved usability, with a simplified menu structure, the capability to grant or deny access rights by module and a faster new hire setup.
Accero is also offering, as an option, a new and intuitive browser-based user interface that’s written completely in Java and that significantly simplifies the use of the Accero system. The new user interface includes built-in query and reporting capabilities, quick links for faster navigation and a simplified record selection process.
“More than any previous Accero/Cyborg release, version 6.0 is a client-inspired creation. Our clients told us what they wanted and now we’re delivering on their wish list across multiple fronts,” said Tom Malone, CEO of Accero Software. “Although we’ve been serving up HR, Payroll and Benefits Management solutions for more than three decades, this is our greatest software effort to date.”
Accero clients may upgrade to version 6.0 from any of the supported versions; clients who are current with their maintenance contract may upgrade for free. Release 6.0 upgrade assistance is available through Accero’s Professional Services group.
