Accenture sees profits zoom 31%

NEW YORK: Accenture Ltd. one of the world's biggest consulting and services companies, said it expects earnings per share for the most recent quarter to rise 31 percent on strong demand for outsourcing and improved consulting sales.

For its fiscal third quarter ending May 31, the Bermuda-incorporated company said it expects a profit of 37 cents a share, up from a year-ago profit of 28 cents a share.
