Accenture launches new delivery tools for Salesforce

LONDON, UK: Accenture launched a set of delivery tools for Salesforce that help accelerate time to value for clients.

The industrialized tools are designed to drive standardization and reuse codifying a decade of Accenture experience with Salesforce around the world and packaging high-quality, analytics-powered assets for rapid deployment.

To extend its salesforce.com position, Accenture has increased its global Salesforce-skilled workforce-growing the total number of skilled and certified consultants to more than 3,600, the company announced.

New Delivery Tools

The delivery tools consist of:

• The Accenture Foundation Platform for Salesforce is a pre-built, common services framework and development and run-time accelerator for Salesforce. In a fast paced multi-release environment, as new functionality is incrementally added, the Accenture Foundation Platform for Salesforce helps guide developers to make decisions on architecture and performance enhancement based on leading practices from more than 500 Salesforce implementations.

• An Accenture software engineering suite for the Salesforce1 Platform uses embedded analytics to automate test case generation and code review, which can increase test coverage and reduce unit testing effort. The tool can accelerate the build phase of projects by up to 20 percent while automatically benchmarking Salesforce configurations against leading practices, improving code quality and helping make client applications more maintainable.

• The Accenture Reusable Technical Library for Salesforce is a global repository available across Accenture with more than 160 high quality and tested assets. The library can reduce development time and effort through the reuse of tools and templates, and can deliver cost savings to clients.
