Accelerate Your AI Startup: Apply Now for Google for Startups Accelerator India - 8th Batch

Google is inviting India-based AI startups that have received funding from Seed to Series A to apply for the eighth cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator: India. Free of capital requirements, this three-month program is specifically designed to empower Indian tech startups that make heavy use of AI and machine learning. It aims to provide participants with access to the best programs, products, experts, and cutting-edge Google technologies, supporting their development and success in the industry.

Artificial intelligence has changed the rules of the game for startups in various sectors, enabling them to create innovative solutions, increase efficiency, discover new market prospects, and achieve more with fewer resources. With the advent of generative AI, the possibilities of potential opportunities have expanded even further.

"We are excited to invite AI-first startups from India between Seed to Series A stage to apply for the eighth cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator: India program," Google said.

Google is currently inviting applications from an eighth cohort of Indian startups that are prioritizing AI in their operations and tackling complex challenges across industries. Applications can be submitted until August 22. Eligible startups must have AI as a core solution or product, including generative AI. Ideally, they should be in development from Seed to Series A.

It was announced that selected startups will receive mentorship and personalized training in various aspects, including product development, leadership, design, and growth. The program will end with a Demo Day, aimed at increasing your presence in the ecosystem. Upon completion of the program, founders will have the opportunity to maintain ongoing support through the Google for Startups alumni network.

The seventh cohort of the accelerator program started in June 2023, followed by 20 Seed to Series A startups. The Google Startups Accelerator batch is currently actively collaborating with mentors and Google teams to address technical, product, and business challenges.

In a recent blog post, Farish KV, Program Manager, Google Accelerator for Startups in India, "According to NASSCOM, AI startups in India face challenges in access to scalable infrastructure, lack of high-quality datasets, and frameworks around data privacy and ethics. At Google, we partner with startups to help them build scalable solutions responsibly with AI and ML from the ground up," 

Who is eligible to apply?

Indian AI startups operating in various sectors are dedicated to solving complex problems and addressing the most pressing challenges in their industries. To be eligible to apply.

Startups must meet the following criteria:

• Be based in India.
• Be AI startups operating across sectors, with AI at the heart of their solution or product, including generative AI.
• Best at the levels between seed and Series A.
