Accelerate your StartUp Journey with Bosch DNA 32-week program with StartUp India

DNA (Discover, Nurture and Align) is the Bosch India StartUp Alliance Program. It provides a platform for innovative tech startups to co-create solutions or explore joint Go-to-market opportunities. The Bosch DNA is a 32-week program of intense development, mentoring and piloting for startups. If selected, these startups will have the chance to work in a world-class environment with mentoring from top Bosch experts in technology.

Once successfully aligned, the startup will also have an opportunity to pitch or showcase the engagement to Bosch management, external partners & investors in the ecosystem.

How to participate in the Bosch StartUp Program

You can enrol in the program on StartUp India. There, you have to give your company and the founders details. Then, the state on what stage is your idea at (Ideation, Validation, Early Traction, Scaling/Growth stage). Submit the focus area of your startup, what problem you are solving, the uniqueness, etc.

Timeline

The application date started on August 3, 2020. The application end date is August 31, 2020. Further, the Application Result Date is September 2, 2020.

The program will select only 20 startups.

What happens after you apply?

First, Bosch DNA will shortlist some startups. They will be invited for Pitch Day sessions to showcase their solution. Then, there will be an Induction Day, where selected startups will introduce themselves to the Bosch Team.

From there, there will be a Nurture Program. Here, the selected startup will undergo a 32-week program of intense development, mentoring and piloting from Domain experts at Bosch. They will also align closely with the Business Units on a defined scope of work and identified problem statements.

Finally, there will be a Graduation Day. Here, the selected startups will get a chance to showcase their engagement to Bosch management & external ecosystem partners.

Incentives of the Program

Bosch stated that they will provide 20 startups will acceleration for 6 months at no cost. Some of the benefits are -- Access to Labs, Domain Experts, Market access, Stakeholder validation, Access to Bosch business units. Further, they will also provide Business Model design, UX/UI Expertise, Solution Industrialization Support and access to Training centres.

Later, there will be "Open Bosch Connect Events" for startups to showcase their solution & approach the external ecosystem (VC, Peers, Investors, Consultants). Further, there will be a Demo Day for all the startups to showcase their engagements to Bosch Management to explore an opportunity with different Business Units.
