It may be noted that Accel Frontline is a subsidiary of British Telecom (BT) through the latter’s acquisition of Singapore-based Frontline Technologies in March 2008 and subsequent acquisition of nine percent stakes from Accel, taking BT’s total stake in Accel Frontline to 51 percent. The company is eying an escalation from the tier-2 spot to tier-1 in the system integration space.

“This development last year has enabled Accel Frontline's customers to gain access to BT's suite of connectivity services and the solid backing provided by a giant like BT will enable Accel Frontline to emerge as a strong player in the tier-1 SI space,” claimed Sriram

He also informed that there has been large wins of significant importance for Accel Frontline in the banking, telecom and few other verticals in the recent past and the company would continue to focus on large enterprises across verticals shedding its tier-2 SI image.

On the other hand, Accel Frontline has gone through a restructuring exercise, where both infrastructure and services will now be under one umbrella headed by Maqbool Hassan, Executive VP, Accel Frontline and this move is expected to provide tremendous benefits to Accel Frontline’s customers, Sriram claimed

Currently Accel Frontline has presence in nearly 140 locations with sales office in 40 places across the country. Sriram said that the company will also continue to hold more events in partnership with their key principals in the near future
