Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank to deploy BankAway

BANGALORE: Infosys Technologies Ltd. has announced that Abu Dhabi Commercial
Bank (Indian Operations) will be offering Internet banking services to customers
in India using BankAway, an eCommerce platform from Infosys Technologies.
Infosys will also provide security architecture, design and consulting services
to the bank.

The bank plans to offer Internet banking services primarily to retail
customers and launch advanced services to corporate customers at a later stage.
With BankAway, the Bank’s customers will be able to conduct banking activities
like account balance inquiry, transaction inquiries and funds transfers apart
from submitting requests, accessing depository services and paying their utility
bills online.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank deputy chief executive (India) Anthony D’ Souza
