The important activity on the agenda of ABITA for the present fiscal is conducting an IT exhibition. The dates of the expo have been set for January 3-5, 2009.

"The IT exhibition will be quite different from the expo we conducted previously. This time we are giving an opportunity to Consumer Electronic Home Appliances (CEHA) to take participate and display their products. We are investing a huge amount this time as we are receiving good response from sponsors," said Sameer Mehta, VP, ABITA.

Speaking about the vendors who have shown interest in participating in the expo, Mehta said, "We are negotiating with vendors like LG, HP and Acer for sponsorship, but no paper work have been done so far. We are waiting for their response. Intel has sent their conformation for participation in the expo."
