AA Projects exits legacy system for better control

LONDON: Deltek, a provider of enterprise software for professional services firms and other project-based organisations announced that AA Projects, a UK management and property consultancy, has selected Deltek's project-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to improve visibility and control across its operations.

It is added in the announcement that: As an ambitious, growing company, AA Projects recognised that it needed a complete business system to meet the specific demands of a project-based firm and provide scalability as its project and client portfolio expands. Legacy systems were no longer providing the transparency required to optimise business processes and future-proof profitable project delivery. As a result, AA Projects initiated a market assessment to procure an ERP system to manage its business.

Following a rigorous assessment of several vendors, Deltek was selected to enable process improvements, manage and reduce costs, reduce project risk, ensure better resource utilisation, and provide accurate forecasting capabilities. With Deltek in place, AA Projects says it will unite its financial and project management requirements onto a common platform and database, providing the entire business with one version of the truth and a reduction in overall administration.
