With the aim to deliver work with optimized use of resources, no matter where you are, PowerPoint comes with many new, improved tools for video and photo editing, broadcasting and for web applications.
You can embed video from online video sharing sites like Youtube or from your local drive. Using the media options under the Insert tab, you can either upload the video from the website or from the local drive.

Capture screenshot with the in-built screen capture tool
With the help of PowerPoint screen capture feature, you can simply capture the screenshot of a particular area from the available options. Apart from this, you can simply capture the screenshot of the last window that you were working upon. This feature was first introduced in the last release of OneNote, but now has been brought to all other applications.

Broadcast your presentation
You can simply broadcast your presentation to remote users with the help of PowerPoint's Broadcasting capabilities. To broadcast the presentation simply click on the Slide show ribbon and select the 'Broadcast slideshow' option. This uploads the presentation to a broadcast server which is free and gives you a link that can be shared with anyone to access the slideshow. All you need is a free Microsoft Live ID.

Convert to video, send as email, save to sky drive, and more
The interesting part here is that by converting your presentation into video format, you can simply view it with media player, for people who don't have PowerPoint installed on their system. You can attach a PDF document of your presentation to the email or use the Skydrive to embed the presentation and share it with anyone.

You can format your mathematical equation in various ways. For instance, you can change fonts, their size and color. |
Add mathematical equations
With the help of Equation Editor, you can add some mathematical equations to your presentations. You can also use it to create your own custom equations by using a library of mathematical functions. Till now this feature was only available in Word and Excel.
