NEW DELHI: The Delhi-based Softalk Technologies has introduced surveillance

software 'eBlaster' in the Indian market. The software monitors and records all

PC and Internet activities from a remote location.

Developed by Spectrasoft of Florida, USA, Softalk Technologies has been

appointed as an exclusive distributor for South Asian region.

Once installed on a PC, eBlaster will monitor all the activities performed on

a computer and send a detailed report to a specified email address. It records

Web sites visited, chat conversations held, applications launched, keystrokes

typed and optionally takes screen snapshots and sends a comprehensive and

organized reports to a given email address.

The software runs in a Super Stealth mode to ensure that it is completely

hidden from anyone except the user. It will not appear in the Windows systems

tray, task manager or in the add/remove programs menu. Chosen Hotkeys and

advanced password protection protect eBlaster recordings.

The software also has the option of advanced chat recording, which not only

captures every word that is being typed on a computer that has the software

installed, but also captures every word of incoming messages from a remote user

in an online chat conversation.

Launching the product, Umesh Gupta, MD, Softalk Technologies, said, the

software was not aimed at snooping on an individual, but in fact it is about

getting people to use their PC's responsibly and appropriately. The software is

extremely flexible, allowing one to specify the times and days of the weeks to

record activity and send reports, he added.
