A different card game for HCL

NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Bridge Association and HCL Infosystems, will jointly host the 47th Winter National Bridge Championship, a “prime and pride event in the calendar of Bridge Federation of India.”

The championship is organized from December 27, 2005 to January 5, 2006 at the JJ Basketball Indoor Stadium, Kilpauk, Chennai.

According to George Paul, executive vice president - Marketing, HCL,

"HCL's approach to business has been driven by innovations that is reflected in our products & services as well. Innovations come from

entrepreneurial and creative minds and HCL's association with this

championship mirrors the efforts to recognize such minds."

P Naresh, vice president, HCL Infosystems Ltd. and his team would

represent HCL.

In tune with the current International trends, the entire format and

schedule of events for this Winter Nationals have been re-organized and much more opportunities are being given to the players to exhibit their skills in this mind game.

The players can participate in any of the 5 major events -The Ruia Gold, The Ruia Silver, The Holkar (pair), Mohan Sicka (Board-a-match) and The Kamalakar (IMP Pair) Trophies.
