83pc datacentres continue to receive investment

BANGALORE, INDIA: A segment which continues to record a good growth even in the time of recession is data center segment. Despite the sweeping global recession which still continues its onslaught on the businesses across verticls, data center is receiving investments to improve performance and reliability. This is reflected in the survey commissioned by the structured cabling major, CommScope.

The respondents for the survey were the people with responsibility for their organizations’ data centers. Over 730 IT professionals from 54 countries responded to the Global Data Center Survey questions on trends in data center equipment, design and future development.
