Follow UsLOS ANGELES, US: It was announced that 1-800-Recycling.com, an interactive nationwide company and player in consumer recycling experience, will be powering the consumer recycling search function of TreeHugger’s recently released iPhone App.
Via its mobile App, online resource and phone service, 1-800-Recycling provides information about recycling services and facilities to anyone, anywhere by zip code. Designed to make the recycling process easy and more accessible, 1-800-Recycling.com’s extensive national database will now also be accessible via the TreeHugger app.
Since its launch in 2004, TreeHugger has fast become the nation’s leading media outlet dedicated to driving sustainability mainstream, adds a press release. The recycling search function of the TreeHugger app finds users’ current location with built-in GPS, allows them to select whatever items they wish to recycle, and then provides the locations of responsible recyclers closest to them, thanks to 1-800-Recycling.com’s extensive nationwide database of recyclers.
