There are two courses available on Google Digital Platform that provide a certificate; Digital Marketing and G-Suite. Other than that, most of the courses are free but Google charges money for the certificate. Not only that, but the teachers on Google are also one of the best trainers available online. The courses range from 2 hours to 20+ hours and you can learn at your pace. Here are 5 such free courses that you can finish before the lockdown ends.

1. Take your business online with the free course

This Google course will teach you how to create a successful advertising and marketing strategy. It will also explain how email marketing, video and display ads, can help you reach and attract more of the right customers. It is free, self-paced and the total course lasts for 3 hours. 2. Get certified in the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing

This IAB-credited course on Google Master teaches the basics of digital marketing. It is free, self-paced and there are 26 modules to explore. Google trainers teach this course with practical exercises and real-world examples to help you turn knowledge into action.

At the end of this course, you will get a certificate for free. You will have to pass the final 40-question exam to get certified. The skills you will learn are- Analytics and data insights, Business strategy, Content Marketing, Display Advertising, E-commerce, Email Marketing, Local Marketing, Mobile SEM and SEO. You will also learn how to use social media and Web optimisation.

3. Machine Learning Crash Course

This course teaches the basics of machine learning. Researchers at Google came together to build this bite-sized course. It is a series of lessons that include video lectures and text written specifically for newcomers to ML, interactive visualizations of algorithms in action and real-world case studies. While learning new concepts, you'll immediately put them into practice with coding exercises that walk you through implementing models in TensorFlow, an open-source machine intelligence library.

4. Elements of AI

This is not a Google course, per se. It is powered by Realtek and taught by the University of Helsinki. Further, the goal of the course is to demystify Artificial Intelligence (AI). It also provides a gentle introduction to the basics. This will help you to understand what is possible, and what isn't, and to recognise how AI is affecting our lives. After the course, you will be able to define and discuss AI. You will also explain the underlying technologies including machine learning and neural networks and understand the major implications of AI.

5. Learn the Fundamentals and Core Infrastructure of the Google Cloud Platform

This is also not a Google course. Coursera backs the course along with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). With this course, you will learn the basics of GCP. Further, it will teach you many of the computing and storage services available in Google Cloud Platform, including Google App Engine, Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.

You will also learn about important resource and policy management tools, such as the Google Cloud Resource Manager hierarchy and Google Cloud Identity and Access Management.
