The enterprise storage integrator in India, this partnership authorizes APARA to sell the 3PAR InServ storage server and 3PAR InForm software and to provide integration and training services designed around 3PAR utility storage across India.

Following on the opening of a new 3PAR sales and customer service office in Bangalore earlier this year, the partnership with APARA expands 3PAR’s ability to meet the growing demand for agile and efficient, enterprise-class storage technologies to support cloud computing, virtualization, and green IT initiatives in India’s enterprise and service provider datacenters, said a press release.

“There is a high demand in India for agile and efficient enterprise storage to help sustain economic growth and power cloud computing,” said Arvind Khurana, 3PAR’s India country manager.

“By offering greater performance than traditional storage arrays, requiring up to 90 per cent  less administration, and drawing up to 75 per cent less energy for power and cooling, 3PAR Utility Storage has helped enterprise and service provider customers alike do more with less as they scale to meet new business demands,” he added

“Our focus on enterprise customers and best-of-breed solutions that cater to high SLAs has helped us create a niche for ourselves in the Indian market,” said Ashish Khushu, chief operating Officer of APARA.

He further said that over the years, we have developed an uncanny ability to evaluate and choose the right technologies and products to help our customers succeed. We believe that 3PAR Utility Storage is one of these technologies, and that our partnership with 3PAR is critical to helping effect key enterprise storage technology shifts within the Indian market.
